Salt is partnering with a leading global technology consultancy seeking an experienced Service Now UI/UX Developer to deliver modern, intuitive and highly customised user experiences across the Service Now platform. This position requires a combination of strong hands‑on Service Now development expertise, UI/UX design capabilities and the ability to work directly with enterprise customers. The successful candidate will play a key role in translating complex business requirements, user journeys and corporate branding into scalable, user‑friendly Service Now experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop and customise user interfaces using Service Now UI Builder and Now Experience UI Framework.
- Build and maintain custom pages, widgets and reusable components within Service Now Service Portal.
- Develop and enhance Employee Center and Employee Center Pro experiences.
- Translate wireframes, Figma designs and customer branding guidelines into functional Service Now interfaces.
- Deliver responsive, accessible and cross‑browser‑compatible user experiences.
- Develop integration‑driven interfaces using REST APIs.
- Collaborate closely with Service Now Architects, UX designers, business analysts and customer stakeholders.
- Ensure development follows Service Now best practices for performance, maintainability and upgradeability.
- Support UI testing, troubleshooting and continuous platform improvements.
- 8-10+ years of relevant technology experience, including significant hands‑on Service Now UI/UX development.
- Strong expertise in Service Now UI Builder and Now Experience UI Framework.
- Extensive Service Now Service Portal development experience.
- Hands‑on Employee Center / Employee Center Pro experience.
- Advanced JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and SCSS.
- Experience developing responsive and reusable UI components.
- Strong knowledge of UI/UX design principles, wire framing, prototyping and interaction design.
- Proficiency with Figma or equivalent design tools.
- Understanding of REST APIs and integration‑driven UI experiences.
- Excellent communication and customer‑facing capabilities.
- Service Now Configurable Work spaces.
- Experience across ITSM, CSM, HRSD or ITOM.
- Enterprise design systems and component libraries.
- Large‑scale enterprise Service Now transformation programmes.
