Overview

Job Title: Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Coach

Location: Martial Arts Area / Gym Facility

Reports to: Martial Arts Manager / Fitness Director

Job Purpose: To lead professional MMA training sessions focused on striking and wrestling techniques for all levels, from beginners to advanced, while building athletes’ physical fitness, discipline, and competitive readiness.

• Plan and deliver MMA sessions focused on striking arts (e.g., Boxing, Kickboxing, Muay Thai).
• Plan wrestling techniques and ground control (excluding Jiu-Jitsu).
• Train a variety of age groups and skill levels (amateurs – competitive fighters).
• Develop physical conditioning programs targeting endurance, power, speed, and flexibility.
• Prepare competitive athletes with tailored fight training plans.
• Monitor and correct technical and tactical performance.
• Instill values of discipline, commitment, and respect in all sessions.
• Maintain a safe training environment and proper equipment usage.
• Coordinate with management on class scheduling and program development.

• Proven experience in MMA or a relevant combat discipline (e.g., Boxing, Muay Thai, Wrestling).
• Prior coaching experience; a competitive background is preferred.
• Ability to design and execute structured training programs.
• Strong motivational and communication skills.
• Comfortable coaching diverse age groups and experience levels.
