The Candidate:We are seeking a passionate, experienced, and highly organized Netball Manager to lead our netball programs and drive excellence in player development. The ideal candidate will oversee coaching operations, support player progression across all age groups, and cultivate a strong netball culture within the academy. This role requires a leader who can inspire athletes, manage program structures, and ensure high-quality training delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a structured netball program across all age groups and skill levels.
- Design training plans, seasonal schedules, and competition pathways.
- Manage league registrations, team selections, fixtures, and tournament participation.
- Monitor player progress and maintain clear development pathways.
- Deliver high-quality coaching sessions tailored to different age groups and abilities.
- Ensure sessions align with modern coaching principles and safety standards.
- Mentor, supervise, and evaluate assistant coaches to maintain coaching consistency and quality.
- Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive values among players.
- Ensure equipment, facilities, and resources are well-maintained and used safely.
- Coordinate internal events such as trials, training camps, and mini tournaments.
- Maintain attendance records, training plans, and progress reports.
- Communicate effectively with parents, schools, and management regarding player and program updates.
- Represent the academy in school events and sports community activities.
- Collaborate with school partners to enhance netball participation and visibility.
- Support marketing initiatives and contribute to the promotion of netball programs.
Job Qualifications:
- Recognized netball coaching certification (e.g., World Netball, Netball Australia, England Netball, or equivalent).
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in coaching or netball program management.
- Strong understanding of modern coaching methodologies, game rules, and player development pathways.
- Proven leadership and team-management skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.
- Passionate, proactive, and committed to providing an exceptional player experience
