Job Summary

At Six Flags Qiddiya, the Lifeguard - Specialized is responsible for the overall safety and satisfaction of all guests at Aquarabia Water Theme Park. The Lifeguard - Specialized must possess and demonstrate technical skills as well as soft skills and character traits that will allow them to be successful in the role. The Lifeguard - Specialized is passionate about waterpark operations, guest satisfaction and the prevention of loss of life due to drowning.

Full description of duties as listed below, including adherence to park policies, values and mission statements, and maintenance of guest safety and experience standards.

• Responsible for the overall safety of all Guests and Colleagues within and while visiting Aquarabia Water Theme Park, with a commitment to the prevention of loss of life due to drowning.
• Assist in the daily operation of all Aquatic Attractions and Adventure Experiences within Aquarabia Water Theme Park.
• Responsible for Guest safety checks for attractions and Guest experience, including Aquatics Risk Management, Local and International Standards and Requirements, and ensuring Guest Satisfaction KPIs and feedback are addressed.
• Respond to and assist in any medical emergency within the scope of Certification & Training (First Aid provider).
• Ensure that KPIs are met and work with other Operational Departments within Aquarabia Water Theme Park and Qiddiya Six Flags.
• Meet all requirements of a Special Facility ILTP Lifeguard License, and relevant adventure experience certifications.
• Work long periods of time, exceeding set shift timings, and be on your feet for prolonged periods in various environments.
• Access ride platforms multiple times during a day and work in different environmental conditions (rain, cold, heat, sand, wind, etc.).
• Maintain cleanliness of all Guest and Colleague areas, including non-Aquatic aspects of the operation.
• Work scheduled shifts on holidays, weekends and non-operational hours as required, including before and after-hours trainings, meetings and events as determined by management.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures; contribute to making Aquarabia Water Theme Park a safe and enjoyable experience for Guests and Colleagues.
• Perform any other functions deemed necessary by management in line with safety and operational success.

• Education
  :
  Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience
  :
  Experience with in hospitality, entertainment, amusement and/or guest service industry in the Middle East and/or international work settings. Previous or current experience with whitewater rafting, canyoning, deep water, rock climbing and/or surfing is preferred.
• Skills
  :
  Professional understanding and communication of English (written and spoken). General understanding and communication of Arabic is desired. Basic computer skills.
