EGY Line Haul Ops Lead, ATS

Overview

Linehaul team in Egypt is currently handling all line‑haul movements between all fulfillment centers, sorting centers, Amazon fulfillment managers, VF sites, FM pickups fleet & people transportation. The team is the main point of connection between internal and external stakeholders.

• Communicate with external customers (carriers, vendors/suppliers) and internal customers across last mile, sorting centers, fulfillment centers, seller and vendor flex, speed, finance, procurement, NOC, etc.
• Pull data from internal databases using Excel, SQL, or other management systems and perform ad‑hoc reporting and analysis.
• Develop and understand performance metrics to assist with driving business results.
• Scope business and functional requirements for Amazon technology teams that create and enhance the software systems used by the line‑haul team.
• Quickly understand business impacts of trends and make decisions based on available data.
• Escalate problems or variations systematically to relevant owners, follow through on resolutions, and ensure delivery.
• Work within tight time constraints to meet critical business needs while measuring and identifying activities performed.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; prepare narratives of weekly findings and present them in review forums.
• Provide real‑time customer experience support in a 24/7 operating environment.

• Minimum 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Work 40 hours per week with overtime as required.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
