We are seeking an experienced Logistics Officer with strong UAE market exposure to manage and coordinate end-to-end logistics operations within the HVAC and MEP industry. The role involves close coordination with internal departments, suppliers, transporters, warehouses, and regulatory authorities to ensure timely delivery of materials, accurate documentation, and full compliance with local and regional regulations. Candidates with experience in Saudi goods clearance will be given preference.
Job Responsibilities- Prepare and issue purchase orders in coordination with the procurement team.
- Prepare, verify, and maintain logistics documentation, including delivery notes, invoices, GRNs, and related records.
- Follow up with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of materials.
- Handle local clearance procedures and related documentation.
- Coordinate with transporters and logistics partners for smooth shipment movement.
- Monitor inventory levels in coordination with the warehouse team.
- Ensure proper receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials.
- Ensure compliance with UAE and Saudi customs, transportation, and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate logistics records for audits and reporting purposes.
- Resolve shipment delays, documentation issues, and logistics-related challenges.
- Support project and site teams with timely material availability.
- Use SAP (Procurement and Logistics modules) for tracking and reporting logistics activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 4–5 years of logistics experience in the UAE (mandatory).
- Previous experience in the HVAC and MEP industry is required.
- Knowledge of SAP (Procurement and Logistics modules preferred).
- Experience in handling local clearance and customs procedures.
- Experience with Saudi logistics regulations/customs is required.
- Saudi goods clearance experience is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and follow-up skills.
- Strong organizational and documentation management abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
