This full-time role is based in Riyadh and features a blend of international and domestic operations from our hub. A lifestyle rostering option is available upon meeting defined criteria and subject to operational availability, giving you space to grow your career while enjoying life in one of the world’s fastest-evolving cities.
What you will do- Command the Boeing 787 on international and domestic sectors from Riyadh, delivering safe, smooth and on-time operations.
- Lead a high-performing flight deck, fostering teamwork, professionalism, and a just culture.
- Exercise exemplary PIC decision-making and threat and error management in all phases of flight.
- Uphold Riyadh Air’s service ethos and represent our brand with confidence and care.

- Fly a modern, fuel-efficient fleet on diverse route networks spanning multiple continents.

- Visa sponsorship and relocation support through the onboarding journey.
- License: Valid ATPL (Accepted: ICAO)
- Medical: Class 1
- English Proficiency: ELP Level 5 (minimum)
- Type Rating: Not required — Boeing 787 type training provided for eligible candidates
- Total time: Minimum 6,000 hours on multi-crew, multi-engine aircraft (turbojet operating seat time only considered)
- Command time: At least 2,000 hours of recent widebody command, preferably on Boeing 787 or 777
- Multi-engine: 6,000 hours
- Turbine: 6,000 hours
- Multi-pilot: 6,000 hours
- Currency: Minimum 150 hours in command within the last 12 months prior to joining
Note:
Only time accrued in the operating seat of turbojet aircraft will be considered.
