The Logistics Supervisor/Assistant Manager is responsible for overseeing daily logistics operations, ensuring the efficient transportation, warehousing, and distribution of goods. The role focuses on optimizing supply chain processes, maintaining compliance with Saudi regulations, and ensuring timely delivery while controlling costs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise day-to-day logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Plan and coordinate shipments to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Manage relationships with transporters, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with KSA regulations, customs requirements, and company policies.
  • Optimize routes, shipping methods, and logistics processes to improve efficiency.
  • Track shipments and resolve any delays, damages, or discrepancies.
  • Prepare logistics reports, KPIs, and performance analysis.
  • Lead and train logistics staff to enhance productivity and service quality.
  • Support budgeting, cost control, and vendor negotiations.
Qualifications
  • Experience in logistics or supply chain operations in KSA.
  • Strong knowledge of Saudi logistics regulations, customs clearance, and transportation processes.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and logistics software.
  • Good understanding of inventory management and warehouse operations.
  • Valid driving license (may be required).
  • Leadership and team management.
  • Problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities.
  • Communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
