Responsibilities
- Conduct warehouse maintenance, inventories, and stock management for aviation logistics and warehouse operations
- Perform Supply Support Activity (SSA) depot functions including receipt, issue, turn-in, retrograde, inventories, stock control, reconciliation, and warehouse operations
- Identify and segregate non-conforming material, maintaining proper documentation and accountability for product conformity and airworthiness awareness
- Manage shelf‑life and expiration of aviation materials
- Oversee end‑to‑end supply chain processes for aviation‑related materials, including procurement, storage, and distribution
- Collaborate with logistics personnel to optimize supply chain efficiency
- Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date inventory records of supplies, spare parts, and equipment
- Conduct regular audits to ensure precise inventory management and address discrepancies promptly
- Coordinate with aviation procurement teams to acquire necessary supplies, spare parts, and materials for aviation assets
- Ensure compliance with aviation procurement regulations and budgetary constraints
- Develop and implement distribution strategies for aviation supplies to ensure timely, accurate delivery to aviation units within the battalion
- Collaborate with aviation logistics and transportation teams to optimize delivery schedules
- Implement quality control measures to ensure received aviation supplies meet stringent aviation standards
- Monitor and address any quality issues related to aviation supplies
- Assist in budget planning and monitoring specifically for aviation supply‑related expenses
- Identify cost‑saving opportunities without compromising operational needs of aviation assets
- Perform additional duties or tasks as directed by management
- High school diploma required; associate's degree or higher preferred for potential Saudi Arabia QVP qualification
- Familiarity with DOD procedures, regulations, and directives concerning logistics support and supply systems, including IMRL and ALMMS programs at organizational and intermediate maintenance levels
- Four (4) years of experience specializing in a DOD aviation/material control environment
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and U.S. passport with at least 6 months of remaining validity
- Driver’s license with at least one year of remaining validity and ability to operate a standard transmission vehicle
- Ability to pass employment and deployment qualification requirements, including medical, drug testing, and background checks
- DD214 (military experience) required
