Join Our Team as an Operations Logistics Coordinator (KSA)
Play a crucial role in the logistics and operations of a leading heavy equipment sales and rental company serving the GCC region. Join our Jeddah team to ensure smooth, timely, and safe equipment deliveries and operator scheduling.
Key Responsibilities Equipment Logistics & Transport Coordination- Plan and schedule equipment deliveries and pickups based on bookings and site requirements.
- Assign delivery routes and select transport methods, whether internal fleet or external providers.
- Ensure all deliveries and pickups are timely, accurate, and comply with safety standards.
- Communicate delivery timelines and changes to customers and internal teams.
- Maintain an up‑to‑date operator roster, including licenses, certifications, and availability.
- Assign operators to jobs considering equipment type, location, and project duration.
- Manage operator schedules and handle emergency rescheduling due to absences or equipment issues.
- Liaise with the Hire Desk Controller, Workshop Supervisor, and Operations Engineer to confirm equipment readiness.
- Provide real‑time updates to operations and sales teams regarding delivery statuses and changes.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, operator assignments, and delays.
- File operator timesheets, delivery notes, and update rental trackers regularly.
- Oversee transport vehicle condition and maintenance schedules.
- Identify and elevate logistics issues such as breakdowns or site access problems.
- Ensure safe and compliant equipment transport.
- Monitor logistics performance and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience in logistics coordination, ideally within heavy equipment or construction industries.
- Ability to multitask and handle dynamic scheduling challenges.
- Attention to detail and a proactive problem‑solving approach.
