Responsibilities
- Safely operate light trucks to transport goods and materials to designated locations while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently and securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and protection of goods.
- Navigate routes effectively using GPS devices and maps, planning for optimal delivery times and avoiding traffic congestion.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license appropriate for light trucks.
- A clean driving record demonstrating a commitment to safe operation.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience driving commercial vehicles or delivery trucks.
- Familiarity with local geography and delivery routes.
