Job Objective
Managing and directing daily trucking operations, converting client requests into successful operational processes, ensuring maximum fleet capacity utilization (headhaul/backhaul), and maintaining accurate trip documentation.
Key Responsibilities1. Order Management & Dispatching
- Receiving client orders and documenting shipment data (type, weight, destination, schedule).
- Assigning tasks to drivers and directing them to loading/unloading sites.
- Ensuring trucks do not run empty by actively searching for backhaul loads.
- Real-time tracking via GPS to ensure route compliance.
- Providing immediate support for drivers during breakdowns or accidents.
- Issuing transport docs (Bayan/Naql), reviewing fuel invoices and PODs.
- Data entry of trip details (distance, consumption, revenue) into the system.
Job Requirements
Experience:
Previous experience in freight transport or dispatching operations
Languages:
Proficiency in English (speaking and writing) to communicate with drivers and external parties.
Technical
Skills:
Proficiency in mapping apps, GPS tracking systems, and MS Excel.
Communication & Negotiation:
Strong skills in negotiating with freight brokers and managing drivers.
Geographical Knowledge:
Thorough awareness of road networks, industrial zones, and key ports.
Pressure Management:
Ability to handle field crises and multitask with high accuracy.
