Job Responsibilities- Operate trailer trucks to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently
- Adhere to all applicable traffic laws and safety regulations
- Inspect vehicle before departing to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order
- Load and unload cargo according to company policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate logbooks as required by law
- Monitor road conditions and watch for traffic congestion
- Valid driver's license with the appropriate endorsement(s) for the type of vehicle being operated
- Ability to follow directions carefully
- Sound knowledge of applicable traffic laws and safety regulations
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
