Airbus A321 Captain; Direct Entry Air

About the opportunity

As a Direct Entry Captain on the Airbus A321, you will be at the forefront of Riyadh Air’s launch and rapid expansion. Operating a blend of domestic and international sectors from our Riyadh hub, you’ll set the tone for safety, professionalism, and service on every flight.

• Serve as Pilot-in-Command on A321 operations across a mixed international and domestic network.
• Lead and mentor the flight deck and cabin crew, fostering a just culture and exemplary CRM.
• Own the operational decision-making from preflight planning and briefings through to post-flight review.
• Uphold the highest standards of safety, regulatory compliance, and on-time performance.
• Represent Riyadh Air with professionalism and a customer-first mindset on every sector.

• Minimum 6,000 hours total flying time on multi-crew, multi-engine aircraft.
• At least 2,000 hours of recent command time on Airbus aircraft.
• Logged a minimum of 150 PIC hours within the 12 months prior to joining.
• Valid ICAO ATPL () and an unrestricted Class 1 medical.
• ICAO English proficiency Level 5 or higher.
• A strong safety record, decisive, collaborative leadership, and the professionalism expected of a national carrier captain.

• Full-time roster with a lifestyle rostering option available upon meeting defined criteria and subject to availability.
• Operate a modern A321 fleet from a stable home base in Riyadh.
