Position Overview

The Senior Specialist - Receiving plays a crucial role in the efficient functioning of our distribution center operations by overseeing and optimizing the receiving processes. This senior specialist ensures accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with established procedures, contributing to the overall success of the distribution center.

• Oversee all aspects of receiving operations, including unloading, sorting, and processing inbound shipments.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of received shipments, including updating inventory records.

• Supervise team members, providing guidance in receiving operations and fostering efficiency, accuracy, and teamwork.
• Motivate and guide team members for effective and efficient operations.

• Collaborate with other warehouse departments such as inventory control, warehouse operations, and quality control to ensure the efficient receiving of products.

• Monitor receiving operations to maintain a high level of operational efficiency.
• Monitor and analyze KPIs to drive continuous improvement in receiving operations.

• Ensure compliance with relevant safety and regulatory requirements in the receiving area.

• Proficiency in overseeing all aspects of receiving operations, including unloading, sorting, and processing.
• Knowledge of inventory systems and processes.
• Skill in identifying and implementing improvements to enhance receiving processes.

• 3+ years of experience in distribution center receiving operations, demonstrating leadership capabilities.
• Leadership knowledge of receiving processes, inventory systems, and supply chain operations.
• Experience in a relevant field.
