As an Inventory Control Supervisor at ABYAT, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining inventory accuracy and minimizing stock discrepancies and damages across warehouse operations. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor and control inventory-related activities, including damaged goods, customer returns, replacement orders, and blocked stock liquidation, ensuring proper documentation and system updates. You will oversee cycle count execution, validate discrepancies, and ensure all defective inventory is properly recorded and supported with evidence in the system.

In addition, you will work closely with inbound and outbound teams to ensure smooth operations and accurate stock movement. Your attention to detail, analytical mindset, and cross-functional coordination will be key in reducing inventory loss and improving overall inventory control efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and control inventory damages within storage facilities, including those related to customer returns and replacement orders, ensuring reduction of inventory loss.
  • Oversee and manage blocked and slow-moving inventory, ensuring timely liquidation and proper system updates, including scrapping procedures where required.
  • Supervise and validate the execution of cycle count plans, ensuring accuracy of results and proper discrepancy resolution.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, ensuring alignment between physical stock and system records.
  • Verify and document defective or damaged stock, ensuring all items are properly recorded, supported with evidence, and blocked in the system.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams to ensure smooth inbound and outbound processes with accurate stock movement.
  • Generate and analyze inventory reports and KPIs, highlighting variances, damages, and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with inventory control procedures, policies, and audit requirements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control processes, including cycle counting, reconciliation, and discrepancy management.
  • Hands-on experience with WMS / ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Good understanding of inventory KPIs such as accuracy, shrinkage, and stock aging.
  • Experience handling damaged stock, returns, and liquidation processes is a strong advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
