A Warehouse Assistant is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods while maintaining safety and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities- Receive and check incoming shipments and verify quantities.
- Load and unload goods safely.
- Arrange and store products in the correct warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately.
- Prepare items for delivery or shipment.
- Perform stock checks and assist with inventory counts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working area.
- Follow warehouse safety rules and company procedures.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment (if trained).
- Report damaged or missing items to supervisors.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift and move goods safely.
- Good attention to detail and organization skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Basic communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours if required.
