ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health General Surgery – Roanoke Rapids, Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina are seeking a nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join an established surgical practice. Applicants with at least 2 years of experience in general surgery in both inpatient and outpatient settings are required.

Roanoke Rapids offers an excellent work‑life balance with the ability to live on Lake Gaston, a 20,000 acre lake ideal for fishing and boating.

• Employment by ECU Health Physicians
• Hospital privileges at ECU Health North Hospital, a 204‑bed community hospital
• Inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities will include rounding and inpatient surgical consults, minor procedures, and seeing patients in an outpatient clinic
• Monday – Friday schedule, 8 am – 5 pm
• No call responsibilities
• Established practice with 3 surgeons
