Position Summary
A Magnetic Resonance (MR) Technologist IV is a MR Professional that is qualified by professional credentialing and academic and clinical experience to provide diagnostic patient care services using MR and related diagnostic MR procedures. The scope of practice of the MRI Technologist IV includes those procedures, acts and processes permitted by law, for which the individual has received education and clinical experience, has demonstrated competency, and has completed the appropriate ARRT (MR) registry which is the standard of practice in Radiology.
Minimum Requirements
- High school or equivalent (or higher)
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Current ARRT (MR)
- 8 years of experience as MRI technologist
Other Information
- Primary Shift: PRN (as needed)
- As needed to cover staff throughout the week
- 2 Saturdays per month
- On Call:

This position is listed as a MRI Technologist IV, but based on the minimum requirements that are met, the candidate of choice will be hired as a MRI Technologist I, II, III or IV.
