Position SummaryA Diagnostic Medical Sonographer is a credentialed medical professional with academic and clinical experience to provide diagnostic patient care services using ultrasound and related diagnostic procedures. The scope of practice includes those procedures, acts and processes permitted by law, for which the individual has received education and clinical experience and completed ARDMS or ARRT (US) registration, the standard of practice in Ultrasound.
$7,500 Sign‑On Bonus for eligible candidates.
- High school or equivalent (or higher)
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- ARDMS or ARRT (US) registration required (physics and one specialty exam AB, OB/GYN) or registry eligible with registration obtained within 18 months of date of hire
- 0 years of experience as US technologist (sonographer)
Position is listed as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer I, but based on the minimum requirements met, the candidate of choice will be hired as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer I, II, III or IV.
Other Information- Primary Shift: Day – Three, 12‑hour shifts with rotating call on one day
