At Easterseals PORT Health (ESPH), our mission is rooted in empowering individuals and strengthening communities. As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you’ll play a critical role by helping people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) complete everyday living tasks and achieve their goals while living in our group home in Roanoke Rapids, NC.

• Part-time: Every other weekend, including Saturday & Sunday from 9 am to 9 pm (24 hours).
• Location: Roanoke Rapids, NC, with regular local community travel.
• Compensation: $15.00 per hour.

• Provide care in the home of each individual and the community they live in.
• Assist with everyday tasks such as housekeeping, meal preparation, cooking, cleaning, personal care (bathing, dressing), and employment support.
• Transport clients to appointments and run errands as needed.
• Help plan and organize clients’ schedules.
• Maintain daily documentation and reporting in the electronic health system of record.

• Technology: Proficiency with EHR systems or a willingness to learn.
• Transportation: Reliable transportation and current auto insurance.
