About the Role:

The HVAC Business Development Manager plays a critical role in driving the growth and expansion of our HVAC services. This position is responsible for managing the entire onboarding process for new clients and partners, ensuring a seamless transition and integration with our service offerings. The role requires strategic planning to develop and implement business development initiatives that align with company goals and market demands.

The manager will collaborate closely with sales, operations, and technical teams to optimize client satisfaction and operational efficiency. Ultimately, this position aims to increase market share, enhance customer experience, and contribute to the long-term success of the HVAC division

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, HVAC Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development or client onboarding within the HVAC or related technical services industry.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, products, and industry standards.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing client relationships and onboarding processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • Experience with CRM software and business development tools specific to the HVAC industry.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP) or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance and safety standards in HVAC operations.
  • Multilingual abilities to support diverse client bases.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the HVAC industry through market research, networking, and lead generation.
  • Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new clients and partners, including contract negotiation, documentation, and coordination with internal teams.
  • Coordinate training and support for new clients to ensure they are fully equipped to utilize our HVAC services effectively.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and industry partners to support business growth and retention.
  • Collaborate with sales and technical teams to tailor HVAC solutions that meet client needs and ensure successful project implementation.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic business development plans and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on business development activities, onboarding progress, and client feedback to senior management.

Skills:

The required skills such as strong communication and negotiation are essential for building and maintaining client relationships and ensuring smooth onboarding experiences. Technical knowledge of HVAC systems allows the manager to understand client needs and collaborate effectively with engineering and operations teams. Business development skills are applied daily to identify new market opportunities and develop strategies that drive growth. Proficiency with CRM and project management tools helps in tracking leads, managing onboarding workflows, and reporting progress to stakeholders.

Preferred skills like regulatory knowledge and multilingual capabilities enhance the manager’s ability to navigate complex compliance requirements and engage with a broader client demographic, thereby increasing the company’s competitive advantage.
