Director of Construction

Verde Outdoors is a design + build firm located in downtown Roanoke that specializes in high-end, luxury swimming pools, outdoor living, and landscape projects. We are a small company focused on intentional design, attention to detail and exceptional customer service. This is a full-time on-site role for a Director of Construction based in Roanoke, TX. The Director of Construction will oversee all aspects of construction projects, including planning, budgeting, procurement, and cost management. The role involves collaborating with engineers, architects, landscape architects, custom home builders and contractors to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Daily tasks include developing schedules, monitoring progress, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, change orders, and resolving any issues that arise during construction. • Skills in Budgeting and Cost Management
• Experience in Procurement of construction materials
• Proficiency in Construction management with high-end swimming pool projects ranging from $150,000 - $1mm
• Strong leadership and team management abilities - "that's not my job" mentality are not the type of people we want on our team
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Education:
  
  Bachelor's degree preferred, but not mandatory. Military experience considered in place of education and/or significant industry experience also considered as alternative to education
• Professional pool builder certifications preferred (e.g., C.B.P, C.W.F) but we will train the right person and provide certification courses to further knowledge to luxury pool specific construction methods
• Starting Pay: $70,000 - $90,000 based on experience, qualifications, etc.
