About Our Property

Deloitte Hotel & Conference Center is a high‑end private hotel and conference center. It is closed to the public. Currently 800 rooms (all single occupancy, no suites) and will expand to 1,400 rooms by March 2026. The property includes three restaurants (including a Starbucks) and will expand to nine restaurants by March 2026. It offers 105,000 square feet of meeting space—ballrooms, amphitheater, and classrooms—with plans to grow to 200,000 square feet by March 2026.

Additional amenities include a fitness center, jogging trails and sports fields. The clientele is professional; the property does not host weddings, holiday parties, school groups or other social events. It is located in Westlake, Texas, near Keller, Southlake and Roanoke. What You Will Have An Opportunity To Do

The Assistant Mechanical Manager assists the Mechanical Manager in ensuring the property’s mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems are properly maintained and function as designed. The role directly oversees the preventive maintenance program for MEP equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Recruit, interview, train, coach, discipline, and conduct performance appraisals for direct reports; create schedules and approve time, time‑off, and shift changes.
  • Assign, train, support and direct staff to carry out their roles efficiently while maintaining property policies and standards.
  • Coach, develop, and provide feedback to staff for continued growth in current and future positions.
  • Organize and oversee repairs and preventive maintenance of MEP equipment, including scheduling, assigning work, and ensuring systems are updated and efficient.
  • Routinely inspect mechanical and electrical equipment and work to ensure quality and dependability.
  • Use a maintenance work‑order system to distribute and track work; maintain records and data for the system.
  • Create and maintain systems that ensure sufficient completed work is inspected; goal: supervisors/ managers inspect a minimum of 25% of staff‑completed work, 100% of contractor work.
