Director/Consultant, Wealth Product & Experience Personal Cards – Credit Card

Responsibilities

  • Understand the needs and problems of our customers, partnering with the customer research team to conduct surveys, interviews, and focus groups.
  • Evaluate the competitive landscape to identify opportunities for differentiation.
  • Drive and support key aspects of the development life cycle, including requirements, UX design, API development, and end‑to‑end testing of customer experiences.
  • Perform business testing on new functionality, operational processes, and end‑user experience; lead readiness and rollout activities related to production releases.
  • Navigate multiple partners and processes to simplify communications and client engagement, while maintaining compliance and regulatory standards; collaborate with the outside vendor that issues the credit card and provides frontline customer service.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and take thoughtful risks to improve speed and quality, cultivating positive relationships across Fidelity to deliver business outcomes.

Qualifications and Expertise

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; 8–12 years of experience focused on financial services, especially credit cards.
  • Background and passion for solving customer problems and delivering engaging, personalized digital solutions; strong focus on execution and removing impediments.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of business analyst techniques such as benchmarking, business rules analysis, user stories, user acceptance testing, and product documentation.
  • Strong analytical and critical‑thinking skills to understand sophisticated customer needs.
  • Project‑management skills for leading execution teams aligned to strategic plans and objectives.
  • Excellent listening, presentation, and persuasion skills to achieve consensus with diverse audiences.
  • Agile mindset; experience managing simultaneous initiatives with multiple internal and external stakeholders, delivering innovative mobile and web products.
  • Familiarity with Agile processes and tools (Jira, Mural); strong story‑writing skills preferred.
  • Active participation in prioritizing squad work, defining requirements, understanding business and technology needs, and writing Agile stories for infrastructure and API enhancements.
