Kforce has a client in Westlake, TX that is seeking a Data Systems Analyst.

Summary:

This position requires excellent analytical skills, superb communication skills and the ability to work on different projects with diverse scope, complex business and technical requirements in a multi-platform and highly integrated data environment. The Data Systems Analyst gathers requirements for new features or enhancements for Alternate Investment Data Initiative. We are looking for someone experienced in analyzing data throughout its lifecycle, working with development teams and specifying data requirements for the project.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technology related field (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science, etc.) required with 6-8 years of working experience
• You have worked in investment banking, finance, venture capital, asset management, or wealth management (required)
• You have experience in analyzing existing system functionality, leveraging data models and SQL queries and reflecting the findings in clear functional documentation
• You have significant expertise in data related projects in the areas of requirements gathering, analysis, interpretation and translating them to data solutions
• You have dimensional data modelling design and implementation experience
• You understand and communicate sophisticated concepts effectively to a variety of audiences, both technical and non-technical; you make the complicated simple
• Strong SQL experience (ANSI SQL, Oracle, Snowflake)
• You have a passion for continuous learning, mastering new skills, and staying on top of the latest innovations across data analytics
• You are fluent in agile work methodologies such as scrum and its application
• You are known as a go-getter, with the ability to unravel a mystery; data, business process or organizational
• Strong results-orientated contributor with an ability to clearly articulate and deliver business value

This role offers competitive compensation and benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave. Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable.

The amount and availability of compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law. This job is not eligible for bonuses, incentives or commissions.
