Shift: Sunday‑Thursday 5:30 pm – 2:30 am or until finish, rotating Fridays 2:30 pm – 10:30 pm or until finish.

Anticipated salary range: $67,500 – $93,600 |
Bonus eligible: No.

Warehouse Operations manages materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, and storage. The Supervisor, Warehouse Operations oversees the outbound associates, ensuring pick, pack, and ship operations are safe, efficient, and of high quality.

Job Summary

The Supervisor, Warehouse Operations supervises a team of outbound associates (25 people) and ensures that pick, pack, and shipping operations are safe, efficient, and of high quality. With responsibility for a night shift, the supervisor continuously monitors efficiency and quality metrics, assigns work, provides coaching, addresses operational issues, contributes to customer service reputation, develops talent and enhances operational excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Direct and manage a team of 25 warehouse associates to achieve timely distribution and receipt of products and motivate employees to ensure that predetermined productivity and quality standards are achieved.
  • Monitor site productivity standards and hold associates accountable to daily, weekly, and monthly metrics; provide timely feedback and initiate corrective action when needed.
  • Adhere to budgetary guidelines and work to meet Distribution Center objectives and operational goals while maintaining quality and inventory standards.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects and initiatives (e.g., Gemba walks, Kaizen workshops, takt boards).
  • Perform daily scheduling of the workforce to ensure proper staffing.
  • Coordinate equipment maintenance, preventive maintenance, and repairs.
  • Engage in employee development, including training, coaching and performance appraisal.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and HR on a daily basis.
  • Interview and make hiring decisions for lead and associate level roles.
  • Maintain disciplinary processes, supervise timekeeping and safety compliance, and attend audits.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred; bachelor’s degree a plus.
  • 2‑3 years related experience.
  • Experience with continuous improvement projects.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Previous experience leading a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, spreadsheets).
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Manhattan preferred.
