The salesperson works with professionalism and consistency to achieve sales goals. You will learn the five basic services offered by Kitchen Tune-Up and how to sell options to customers.

Please visit  to review our services. We are primarily a cabinet refinisher, full demo, and custom cabinet installer. Training for this position lasts 1 week, both online and in person.

Reporting Relationship

The salesperson reports to the manager.

Duties and Relationships

• Call each lead to discuss project needs and document within Service Minder, including before and inspiration pictures.
• Track leads within Service Minder for reporting.
• Generate outside leads through cold calling, visiting realtor offices, and attending business meet & greets.
• Qualify prospects' needs and prepare for in-home appointments and proposals.
• Perform job site measurements and gather information for cabinet layouts.
• Take "before" photos of remodeling jobs for the showroom album.
• Gather product information for customer presentations.
• Prepare and present quotes to customers aiming to close sales.
• Revise quotes or drawings based on customer needs.
• Collect payments from customers.
• Coordinate with KTU Design Services to complete orders or place orders directly with guidance.
• Complete purchase requisitions and initiate job change orders.
• Inspect jobs with installers prior to installation.
• Maintain customer contact during the project and monitor activities.
• Process credit card payments from customers.

This position is commission-based, typically earning 7-10%. The expected sales target is $500,000 annually for part-time salespeople.

Compensation ranges from $35,000 to $50,000 per year.
