Software Engineer; Backend​/Devops

Job Summary

A solid understanding of networking/distributed computing environment concepts. Mitigate technical roadblocks involving multiple technologies. Strong verbal and written communications, must be able to actively engage other team members. Understanding of Agile development methodology and exposure to development technique utilizing Continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Deployment (CD) and Dev Ops.

Education:

Bachelors

• Champion the effort to build and maintain high quality service documentation
• Write concise and clear technical specifications based on analysis of sophisticated business requirements
• Coordinate multiple development work streams through integration and ensure architecture is scalable and extensible
• Define, maintain and support development environment while adopting industry standard methodologies and tools
• Ensure code reviews, unit testing and integration testing is completed efficiently and optimally
• Work closely with business partners and management team in evaluating current systems and making decisions on future development.
• Provide technical leadership on advice, training and technical support for various projects and junior team members of the team.

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• 5-8 years of software development experience
• 5+ years total OO development experience
• 4-6 years of Java EE development experience
• Investment/financial services experience is highly desired preferably within the equity compensation space
