Construction Project Manager JN

Our client is a general contractor looking to fill a Construction Project Manager position in the Blacksburg, VA area.

• Responsible for developing project budgets, resource allocation, scheduling, financial performance, project submittals, subcontractor management, and quality control for each assigned project
• Coordinate and facilitate all collaboration and update meetings with clients and project teams, from Pre-Construction through Final Completion
• Prepare and submit project schedules, cost estimates, and bid packages
• Establish and enforce quality control and safety standards on the job site and ensure adherence by direct reports and subcontractors

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field
• 3+ years of construction industry experience with project management responsibility, to include client interface and financial performance and cost reporting
• Experience with Prolog or other project management software required
• Understanding of civil engineering design and construction standards, preferably in high‑rise building applications (or other civil/structural applications)
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead and delegate effectively to a diverse team of subcontractors while maintaining control of project budget and timeline

• $125K - $140K annually
