Adjunct Faculty – Nurse Aide Program (Part‑time)

Mode:
Part‑time, course‑by‑course, semester basis. Typical hours:
Mon, Wed, Fri 8 AM–12 NOON.

Location:

Roanoke, VA. Salary: $45,891.00–$49,332.00 (annual).

• Teach dual‑enrolled high‑school students in the Nurse Aide Program.
• Maintain currency in teaching disciplines and community college education trends.
• Assist with other duties as assigned and in emergency situations.

• Diploma or Associate’s degree in Nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum two years of long‑term care and related nursing occupational experience.
• Strong written and oral communication, computer proficiency, and ability to work with diverse students.

• Associate’s degree major in Nursing.
• Previous teaching experience in a Practical Nursing Program or college setting.
• Instructional technology experience.
• Experience in acute care, long‑term care, and/or medical‑surgical nursing.
• Train‑the‑trainer certification.
