ECS is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Building Enclosure Associate III to join our Mid-Atlantic Facilities team in Roanoke, VA. In this role, you’ll lead projects involving inspections, testing, assessments, and commissioning of building enclosures for existing structures. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality consulting solutions to a diverse range of facilities and clients.

• Provide testing and consulting services for the built environment, property condition assessments, specialized testing, building enclosure consulting, forensic investigation analysis, and design of repairs to existing structures.
• Manage projects including inspections of building enclosures, building enclosure testing and assessments, air leakage testing, construction quality assurance observations, roofing assessments, design specification review, field performance testing, and building enclosure commissioning consulting.
• Exhibit responsibility, organization, reliability, time management, and self‑motivation.
• Conduct occasional field and laboratory testing.
• Interact with senior staff members on a variety of projects.
• Prepare reports and proposals.
• Maintain and develop a client database.
• Manage budgets and prepare invoices.
• Mentor other staff.
• Promote a safe workplace and proper use of personal protective equipment.

• B.Arch or M.Arch (NCARB) accredited by NAAB, or BS in Engineering, Building Science, or related degree from an ABET accredited college/university (preferred).
• 2+ years of relevant building facilities consulting experience (required).
• Licensed or certified as at least one of the following (preferred):
  Professional Engineer (P.E.), Registered Architect (R.A.), International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants (IIBEC) offered RRC, RWC, REWC, RBEC, CBECxP, or University of Wisconsin–Madison offered BECxP and CxA+BE.
