We are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Designer to join our clients in-office team and help develop specialized shelter systems. In this role, you will use Revit to create precise technical drawings, perform essential calculations for AC systems and batteries, and ensure all designs align with NEC standards.

• Create and update precise technical drawings for shelter structures and electrical systems using Revit or similar 3D computer-aided design software
• Review customer specs, bid documents, and initial sketches to plan out the design requirements
• Perform technical calculations related to AC power systems, heating and cooling needs, energy usage, and structural integrity
• Build detail lists of materials and parts needed for production while the drawings are being developed
• Manage complex design projects from start to finish with very little oversight while working on-site in the office
• Support coworkers by helping other designers and providing technical advice to the sales team, factory workers and clients
• Apply practical electrical knowledge to design power systems, including familiarity with batteries, PC systems, and National Electrical Code (NEC) standards
• Utilize a background in construction or engineering to ensure designs are practical and buildable
• Participate in internal training programs designed to help you develop your skills and grow within the organization
