Job SummaryThe role as a Product Transition Technician is focused on implementing tactics designed to establish new product lines. Product Transition personnel are a critical means of collaboration between Product Development and Operations; and are members of each integrated product team.
The Product Transition Sr. Technician will conduct engineering tests and lean six sigma analyses, design fixtures and processes, and build/evaluate prototypes. Responsibilities include troubleshooting product, process and equipment issues, performing fault isolation, and working with complex machines or computer‑controlled systems. The Technician will also assemble, adjust, repair, calibrate, and operate equipment using layout plans, blueprints, sketches, and technical manuals.
Meticulous documentation is essential, recording record process steps, results, findings, and communicate effectively with engineering staff, design leads, and facility personnel. Other duties as required by the department manager.
Key Responsibilities- Perform engineering tests and analyze data to support process development and optimization
