As a Cost Estimating Specialist
, you’ll play a vital role in building accurate, competitive HVAC/R project estimates that fuel Nextech’s nationwide success. This is your chance to sharpen your technical knowledge, grow within a high-performing operations team, and contribute directly to project wins and customer satisfaction.

You will:

• Review technician notes, specs, and site information to prepare accurate estimates and proposals.

• Ensure price accuracy across parts, labor, billing, and supplier invoices.

• Communicate essential information to field personnel and management in alignment with company policy.

• Help ensure tasks and calls are completed quickly and professionally while supporting field and operations teams.

• Monitor quotes and pending work orders, contributing to a rapid 24-hour quote turnaround standard.

• Review all quotes for accuracy and forward them to the proper internal approver.

• Maintain accurate documentation for all estimates and proposals.

• Coordinate with suppliers to secure correct pricing when needed.

• Identify unclear or missing details and seek clarification before preparing estimates.

• Uphold company policies, support a safe work environment, and interact professionally with coworkers, managers, customers, and partners.

• Perform additional related duties as assigned.
