As a Surgical Technologist II, you’ll play a key role in providing exceptional perioperative care, working closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities include:

• Prepare and maintain a sterile surgical environment throughout procedures.
• Accurately pass instruments and supplies during surgeries.
• Perform surgical counts of sponges, needles, and instruments per policy.
• Monitor and ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols.
• Support patient safety and follow all regulatory and hospital guidelines.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to anticipate needs and improve outcomes.
• Participate in educational activities and continuous learning opportunities.

Required Education & Certification

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential from the NBSTSA.
• OR completion of military surgical tech training with equivalent experience.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers certification (or must obtain upon hire).

Licensure & Registration

• Must be registered with the Virginia Department of Health Professions

• LPN license only required for grandfathered employees.

Experience

• No prior experience required—new grads welcome!

• Competitive Pay: $23.97 – $35.96 per hour
• $6,000 Sign-On Bonus (paid over 2 years)
