The Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center is a magnificent and storied hotel nestled in the heart of Roanoke, Virginia. Built in 1882, the Tudor‑style hotel is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a member of the International Association of Conference Centers. With its grand architecture and captivating history, the hotel stands as a testament to timeless elegance.

The hotel boasts 329 guest rooms and suites, exceptional dining options, and over 63,000 square feet of flexible event space, making it an ideal venue for conferences, weddings, and special occasions.

We’re looking for a dedicated Steward/Dishwasher & Kitchen Cleaner to join our dynamic kitchen team during the PM shift (typically 3 pm–11 pm, or 4 pm–12 am, or 5 pm–1 am). The role requires regular availability on weekends and holidays.

• Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans efficiently.
• Maintain all kitchen areas to the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation.
• Collaborate with chefs and staff to maintain workflow and organization.
• Keep storage areas neat and stocked for easy access.
• Contribute to a friendly, team‑oriented atmosphere.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle physical demands.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Flexible schedule: evenings, weekends, and holidays required.
• Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation practices.

$14.00 – $16.00 per hour, depending on experience.
