Night Auditor

Overview

The Promissory Hotel is searching for reliable, detail-oriented, and passionate individuals to join our growing team as Night Auditors.

As a valued team member, you will play a critical role in ensuring smooth front desk operations, balancing daily financials, and providing excellent guest service during evening and overnight hours at our soon-to-be-open destination boutique hotel with a vibrant restaurant/bar, Suerte, and live music hall, The Exchange.

• Financial Duties:
  Audit, balance, and reconcile guest folios;
  Prepare daily revenue and operational reports;
  Complete end-of-day processes including posting charges and backups.
• Front Desk Operations:
  Assist guests with late-night check-in and early check-outs;
  Manage reservations, room assignments, and guest requests;
  Prepare and distribute shift reports to management;
  Attend to phone calls and respond promptly to inquiries;
  Deliver exceptional guest service, resolve concerns, and anticipate needs.
• Safety & Security:
  Maintain property security, perform safety checks in the hotel, ensure doors are locked, and monitor the security cameras;
  Respond to emergencies and incidents calmly and professionally;
  Uphold hotel policies and maintain a safe environment for all.
• Assist in other front office roles as needed.

• Previous hospitality night audit experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work independently and stay focused during overnight hours.
• Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts as needed.
• Knowledge of the Roanoke region and the town's local attractions.
