We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of technology platform projects specifically for a new office based in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, technology integration, and construction management, with a focus on collaboration with key stakeholders such as PC&C Workplace, the Business and digital core.
This role requires an individual who can immediately integrate into ongoing programmes and effectively represent requirements BP Technology standards, guidelines, and within construction and fit.
- Extensive BP systems experience (5+ years) to support in-flight projects from day one and ensure alignment with established technology standards.
- Strong understanding of building architecture (interior design and physical building structures), the construction industry, and construction phasing — distinct from IT system architecture.
- Proven track record managing IT deliverables within construction and fit-out programmes, including MER/SER designs, structured cabling, AV installations, and end-user technologies.
- Skilled in coordinating IT dependencies with Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) building systems, such as HVAC, UPS, and building redundancy and resilience designs.
- Role will be based in Bangalore, providing regional remote support for BP’s new office projects, with a primary focus on the upcoming BTC office in Kuala Lumpur’s CBD, commencing mid-2026.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all stakeholders — from tradespeople and site contractors to senior business leaders.
- Strong capability in managing budgets, resource planning, documentation, and multiple vendors across diverse geographies and time zones.
- Lead and manage technology platform projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, construction, IT, PC&C Workplace, the Business Entities, Technology, and Digital Core, to define project requirements and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams, to ensure project alignment and transparency.
- Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Manage project documentation, including technical specifications, design documents, and test plans.
- Oversee the integration of new technology into existing systems and processes.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams.
- Build requirements documents that are agnostic to technology but ensure business value.
- Focus on delivering Business Technology Centre building projects, ensuring they meet the specific needs and objectives of the business.
- Work with Technology and Digital Core stakeholders to deliver BP Technology standards.
- Collaborate with Site Technology global partners for connectivity, collaboration, and Digital Workplace operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager in the technology or construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of technology integration and construction management principles.
- Experience with Agile project management methodologies is required.
- Proficiency in using Azure Dev Ops (ADO) for project management is required.
- Experience with Site Technology Platforms and Digital Workplace Building Projects.
- Strong understanding of technology management practices and principles.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
