The Cloud Network Engineer will support the design, implementation, and maintenance of both cloud-based and on-premises network infrastructure. This role involves configuring and troubleshooting network components, ensuring secure and reliable connectivity across environments, and assisting with system administration tasks. The engineer will collaborate with IT teams to resolve issues, optimize performance, and apply security best practices. Ideal candidates have hands‑on experience with cloud networking and traditional network technologies and may expand their skillsets by leveraging AI‑driven tools for network monitoring and automation.

• 30% - Implement, configure, and maintain network infrastructure across cloud and on‑premises environments. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues. Apply Credit Union security best practices for network and cloud environments.
• 25% - Design, evaluate, and recommend changes and new infrastructure systems and services. Perform day‑to‑day administration of the credit union's infrastructure, including documenting configuration, processes, troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing. Creating audit documentation and compliance reporting.
• 15% - Consult with IT management and technical staff to ensure IT standards for control, security, and recoverability are understood and followed. Coordinate with other technical support staff to implement and maintain appropriate computing standards. Enable and enforce security practices as defined by the Risk department, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures. Manage software and firmware upgrades to maintain alignment with standards and control requirements.
• 10% - Provide Level 3 support for advanced technology issues, including networking, telephony systems, imaging, fax technology, and data format conversion. Collaborate with IT teams to resolve complex incidents.
• 10% - Configure, monitor, and test all backups to ensure data integrity and recoverability across both on‑premises and cloud environments. Implement and validate cloud redundancy strategies; such as geo‑replication and cloud-based backup services, as defined by the Enterprise Architect, to meet business continuity requirements. • 10% - Perform other duties as assigned.

• Must comply with government and other regulations affecting the Credit Union industry including, but not limited to, OFAC and the Bank Secrecy Act.
• Meets or exceeds performance expectations as described in Essential Functions and Responsibilities.

Three years to five years of similar or related experience.

(1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g., information technology certifications in lieu of a degree).

Work frequently involves exercising advanced conflict resolution, giving material presentations, and resolving issues impacting multiple departments or divisions. The role also requires the ability to motivate or influence others as a material part of the role, with a significant level of diplomacy and trust. Obtaining cooperation (internally and/or externally) is an important part of the role and a high level of interpersonal skills is critical to the success of this position.

• Experience supporting and troubleshooting Windows Server and Windows Client environments.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure networking components (VNETs, NSGs, VPN Gateways, Express Route).
• Familiarity with Azure Backup
