We are hiring a new Agent / Protection Advisor

The Protection Advisor acts as the face of Holley Insurance in the community and with prospective new clients. This role is tasked with growing the personal lines and commercial book of business by maximizing the Holley Insurance sales process and applying these strategies daily.

To be clear, this is a SALES position. This means actively pursuing new business opportunities. Our agency generates some new business opportunities. However, to be successful in this position, you will also need to work to generate opportunities yourself. This includes calling on lost business, unsold quotes, and monoline business for account rounding, attending networking activities, and building relationships with centers of influence and current agency clients.

This position requires working inside AND outside of the office in order to be successful.

This is a Full Time Position located in our Rocky Mount or Roanoke office.

Compensation

We prefer applicants who want to make $100,000 a year, but realize that won’t happen overnight. This is not a get rich quick opportunity. First year compensation can average $60,000 based on the right skill set and willingness to work hard to achieve our shared goals. We also include health insurance and a generous Paid Time Off policy.

Flexibility

Our clients deserve to be able to reach us when they expect us to be available. Our normal business hours are 9-5 Monday through Friday. Also, we are a team that has each other’s back. We rely on consistent availability during our open hours. However, we also understand you have commitments outside of work. You will receive Paid Time Off from day one, and flexibility as needed as long as your expected work product meets or exceeds agency standards.

An insurance license or insurance experience are not needed in order to qualify for the position initially, but you will be expected to get a Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance license quickly.
