Supply Chain Manager – Eaton
Location:
Roanoke, VA. Relocation within the United States is provided.
Salary range: $ – $ per year (general guideline; actual salary based on skills, experience, and market).
- Manage and direct supply chain personnel in procurement, receipt, disbursement, and inventory control of material to ensure on‑time delivery of customer orders while maintaining assigned inventory levels.
- Manage demand requirements with manufacturing and supplier capabilities/capacities to ensure completion of customer requirements.
- Own Production Plan from S&OP monthly process derived from sales forecast.
- Establish standard work and attain SCM KPIs.
- Work with corporate commodity teams on supplier performance and cost‑out programs.
- Serve as member of the plant’s senior management team and provide leadership for local, division and corporate initiatives.
- Analyze data and prepare consolidated managerial reports to recommend actions to ensure optimal Supply Chain execution.
- Ensure correct planning parameters and transaction disciplines are used in SAP to ensure proper order generation and inventory balances.
- Meet or exceed key metrics: days on hand, gross inventory, plant & supplier on‑time delivery, days payable outstanding, cost savings, cycle count accuracy, supplier invoice on‑hold metrics, profit plan/budget forecasts.
- Ensure accuracy of physical inventory; responsible for annual physical inventories and cycle counts.
- Promote Eaton’s vision, continuous improvement, and effective deployment of the Leadership Model.
- Support SCM strategic initiatives and lead functional assessments.
- Support organizational capabilities via training and coaching.
- Provide Supply Chain support for New Product Launches at the site.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 5 years of Supply Chain experience in a manufacturing or operations environment.
- Minimum 3 years of related professional and supervisory/managerial experience.
- Proficiency in SAP, MRP system, CPIM certification, SIOP experience preferred.
- Background in project management, and proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business or Engineering preferred.
