Material Handler

We have an immediate opening for a Material Handler. This position is responsible for maintaining proper workflow of stock and inventory within the department. Responsibilities include ensuring all parts needed for work orders are available for assembly. Pull, verify, and organize components for production orders.

We are seeking candidates who have the flexibility to cross-train in areas within the department, who have the ability to stand for a 10-hour shift, lift up to 50lbs, read and comprehend written materials in English, and a willingness to work cooperatively with team members and supervisors to achieve common goals.

This is a non-exempt, full-time, benefitted position. The starting pay is $17 per hour. This job operates in a manufacturing environment with some exposure to temperature fluctuations and low to moderate noise. Must have the ability to stand and walk for a 10-hour shift; must be able to climb and descend ladders; some bending, stooping, and kneeling may be required; lifting up to 50lbs; visual acuity to perform operative functions and read detailed instructions; mobility to move between workstations and transport components, as well as traverse a large manufacturing facility;

ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand; and the ability to observe details at close range.
