Terminal Operator I - Ergon Associated Asphalt Partners

Ergon Asphalt Partners is seeking a full‑time Terminal Operator I for our Gainesville, GA facility. The ideal candidate is self‑driven, team‑oriented, and eager to learn new skills while contributing to a safe and efficient terminal environment.

• Adhere to all safety requirements and procedures.
• Work independently while supporting team objectives.
• Maintain confidentiality with customer, supplier, and company information.
• Stay on schedule, arriving on time and producing professional, error‑free work.
• Hook and unload rail cars.
• Connect steam and unloading hoses.
• Record tank temperatures and measurements accurately.
• Operate the Order Weigh system effectively.
• Perform routine yard maintenance.
• Assist with equipment maintenance.
• Pull product samples upon request.
• Adhere to DOT and OSHA regulations.
• Maintain excellent attendance and timeliness.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a safe and organized work area.
• Complete other duties as assigned by the Terminal Manager.

• Basic computer and PC skills.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC), where applicable.
• Stand and walk for long periods on concrete floors and outside surfaces.
• Work outside in varying weather conditions, including cold, hot, and humid temperatures.
• Manual dexterity; reach, bend, and move with agility.
• Lift and move up to 75 lbs.
