As an Entry Level Test Technician, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring printed circuit board reliability and performance. You will troubleshoot printed circuit boards, and work with both hardware and software to keep our technology running its best.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and troubleshoot hardware and software issues on printed circuit boards using Ohm Meters, Oscilloscopes, Distortion Meters, Audio Generators, etc.
- Follow provided test procedures and documentation.
- Input troubleshooting information into electronic quality database.
- Strong attention to detail.
Successful candidates will also demonstrate an ability to adhere to safety and quality standards with strong attention to detail. Previous manufacturing experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. This is a full-time, on-site position with four-day work weeks (Monday-Thursday) 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The ability to work overtime on Friday is essential. If you have experience with computer hardware assembly and an ability to read electronic schematics, we want to hear from you!
QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
- Ability to read electrical schematics is a must
- Previous experience or education in electronics.
- Ability to solder various sizes of components with and without the use of a microscope
- Ability to use desoldering equipment (hot air gun, solder wick)
- Ability to work mandatory overtime as needed.
