Responsible for the safe and effective maintenance of plant machinery and equipment in accordance with the production schedule. Duties include preventive maintenance, installation of equipment, and high‑voltage electrical maintenance.

• Perform preventive maintenance tasks in a timely manner.
• Communicate problems or concerns arising during preventive maintenance to the appropriate individual.
• Install and remove equipment efficiently.
• Diagnose and repair equipment, responding urgently to plant issues.
• Rebuild equipment and assemblies as needed.
• Modify existing equipment as required.
• Communicate issues to leadership using lock‑out tag‑out procedures.
• Use PPE and comply with all OSHA and company safety requirements.

• High school diploma or equivalent with 3–5 years electrical and mechanical experience (manufacturing experience preferred).
• Electrical certification preferred (high voltage).
• Ability to read electrical symbols and schematics.
• Proficiency using multimeters and clamp‑on ammeters.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend English.

• Experience with mechanical and electrical equipment, basic knowledge of DC/AC motors, machine mechanics, and 3‑phase power and circuits.

• Familiarity with variable frequency drives (VFD).
• Knowledge of PLCs and basic troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E safety requirements and arc flash.
