Industrial Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician

$26.00/hr - $35.00/hr your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.
Schedule & Pay- Full-time, 12-hour shifts on a 2‑2‑3 rotation
- Average of 14 days off each month
- Extended weekends off every other week
- Pay depends on experience, up to $35/hr
- Overtime as required to meet customer demands
- Inspect and test machinery and equipment; execute all preventive maintenance schedules
- Communicate equipment concerns and production impacts with managers and supervisors
- Dismantle defective machines; install new or repaired parts
- Follow all safety procedures and policies; operate with a respirator when required and keep safety gear clean and compliant
- Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other components
- Install and repair electrical systems and equipment
- Design, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- React to basic system alarms and reset as needed
- Collaborate closely with co‑workers to plan work, share updates, and solve problems
- Move carts, pallets, and toolboxes between areas to complete repairs and part replacements
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance
- Multitask effectively in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
- Maintain a clean, safe work area; follow company policies, procedures, and safety rules
- Understand and support the Quality Management and Environmental Management Systems
- Support continual improvement initiatives
- Support JSOX compliance
- Other duties as assigned
- 1 year certificate from a college or technical school; or 3 years
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- PLC troubleshooting skills and PLC programming experience
- Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
- Equipment troubleshooting across industrial automation systems
- Hydraulics experience
- Troubleshooting industrial automation equipment
- Variable Frequency Drives (VFD)
- Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC):
Fanuc, Omron, Panasonic, Schneider Electric, Beckoff, Modicon, B&R Industrial Automation, Sigmatek - Servo motors
