Public Relations and Communications Lead

Our client is looking for a dynamic and experienced Public Relations and Communications Lead to join their team in East London . This senior role will be responsible for shaping and executing the company's PR and communication strategies, managing media relations, and enhancing brand reputation. You will lead a small team and work closely with various departments to ensure cohesive and effective communication across all platforms.

• Develop and implement comprehensive PR and communication strategies to support business objectives.
• Manage all aspects of media relations, including proactive outreach and crisis communication.

• Lead and mentor junior PR and communications staff.
• Monitor media coverage and analyze communication campaign effectiveness.
• Collaborate with marketing and other departments to ensure integrated communication efforts.

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in PR and communications, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Proven track record of successful media relations and campaign management.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Experience with crisis communications and reputation management.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
