Join the Virginia Capacity Building Project to support Serve Virginia and partners in alleviating the effects of poverty through organizational capacity building. This role is for a year of service with Ameri Corps VISTA, helping build a healthier, happier, and stronger Commonwealth.

Member Duties

• Serve your community and develop professional skills.
• Build capacity by establishing stable and sustainable resource development practices.
• Develop a three-year fundraising plan.
• Implement policies and procedures for donor outreach and tracking.
• Support communications and marketing efforts.

Required Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms preferred.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license or reliable transportation required.
