Nurse Practitioner - Psychiatric and Substance Abuse

Join Intercept Health as a Nurse Practitioner - Psychiatric and Substance Abuse in our hybrid position. Compensation ranges from $100,000 - $120,000 per year with available flex compensation. A one‑time sign‑on bonus of $5,000 is also offered.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and follow‑up medication management assessments for clients with psychiatric and/or addictive symptoms.

• Recommend and prescribe psychiatric and detox medications when appropriate.

• Provide care through tele services and/or direct face‑to‑face contact in an outpatient setting.

• Function independently with minimal supervision by a psychiatric and buprenorphine‑waivered physician.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited college or university.

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner with current DEA certification.

• 2 years of experience in psychiatric and substance use treatment.
